    Good day guys*
I am having a issue with my A3 8v . yesterday i had an ESP ABS fault appear on my Dash. I cleared the errors* with a scan tool and*shut of the car and started it up again with no errors reappearing. i drove the car for a few km and stopped of to run some errands about half hour later i returned to the car and started it up and the errors came back*i have a thinkdiag scanner with ProDiag software and was able to scann* the can to identify the faults .what i found was as follows.

C101B4A- incorrect component installed Right front ABS Wheel* - passive
C101B07- Speed Sensor mechanical Malfunction Right front ABS wheel- active
C101B29-Speed sensor Implausible signal*Right front ABS wheel - active
C101B14- Speed sensor open/short circuit to Ground -active
and a few related databus and parking break errors .

I proceeded to replace the* front right ABS*wheel speed sensor and cleared the errors.

I test drive the car for 15 mins graphing the speed of the front left and right sensor to ensure they match. and they did match all was good or so it would have seemed .
the car was parked up for about 2 hours. When started the car the errors returned. I proceeded to take of the wheel and inspect the sensor and the cable connector for damage every thing seem ok . so i cleared the errors put back on the wheels and test drove the car again. both sensors speed*matched . the car was parked for an hour or so and the problem came back. i scanned the car one more time and got the following errors*

C101B14- Speed sensor open/short circuit to Ground -active
C101B01 -Speed*sensor Electrical fault Right Front ABS Wheel-Active
    C101B29-Speed sensor*Implausible*signal*Right front ABS wheel - active
and some related erros with databus and parking brake

can anyone give me some guidance* as to what i should check again.
Should i try another sensor replacement ?
Test the cable(Dont have diagrams to do this any assistance i would be gratefull)*.

    regards

Sounds like it maybe wires/cables...possible corrision inside connectors...

Inspect the wires and cables for cuts/breaks/corrosion

I am trying to figure where the wire runs it goes behind the fender sheild and into the firewall but I can't see or access the wires . Any help on this . My next step is the get the pinots for the abs module and check the wire from the abs connector to the abs sensor. Hopefully I get pinouts .

I did inspect the cable and connector ends on the sensor side and all seems good will do a continuity test once I figure out the pinouts for the abs connector

    Quick update

Today I bought a bosch replacement front wheel abs sensor. And also found the pinouts for the abs module connector.

So I have in my possession two wht003860 ATE BRAND SENSORS which I bought at the dealer. both work when initialy installed but gave error as shown above within half hour of them being installed . Before replacing the sensor again I scanned the car this afternoon and got the same errors again

I replaced the sensor with the new bosch speed sensor as seen below in pic and all seems good so far . I drive the car for 15 mins . Parked it for a hour and a half before checking it and no errors . I will do another check In the morning. I have also shakes the wires and even ran water over wheels and windshield . But every thing looks good so far.

At this point I am hopeing all is well if I do get errors next step is wireing then ABS MODULE

    Update 2

Started the car this morning no errors . Went for a drive all seems well .

Apparent I was sold a bad sensor by the dealership. Strange all sensors read on average 1.4 to 1.5 k ohms
