Jimminez's RS6 - Pics and random

2020 has sucked the big one but at least it can end on a high note. Like many, a long wait for an RS Avant in NA came true. Today I took delivery of my RS6 Avant.

Allow me to introduce my Ara Blue on Black Optics family wagon. Will update often with build specific items and random photos. Have questions, feel free to post.

Goes to detailer on Tuesday for full Xpel and tint, so till then it stays parked in the garage.

Winter tires (Vredestein Wintrac Pro 295/30R22) mounted up on the factory wheels.

Will get the standard Nemesis treatment of more low, more wide, more noise, etc.

Well we discussed Mopette for Mrs Jimminez but we never discussed cars.

Thanks and yes, provided items (cupholder, label-free visors, front rings and emblem) to my dealer and they installed.

Really only wanna unload the woman I have on hand and not take in a new one. Mopette for the RS6 works for me. Mrs Jimminez might enjoy this arrangement.

As much as 22” are nutty for winter in these parts, 295 fit perfectly on the wheels.

Thanks Brock. Very happy with my colour choice. Love it. So much so I took it out of the garage just now to see it in full sun. Then back into the garage.

Mind my awesome temp ppf installation

As for the GR21, someone was looking for a set and offered a fair price for the set I had. Too bad I won’t see them on the blue but happy they went to a good home. 22” winters aren’t ideal in my area but love the way the Vredestein fit on the factory wheels and have the Q7 of roads get too bad.

Thanks. Shall see how this winter goes with them but shouldn't be a problem. Need to be just as careful with 21" as 22" so not much of a difference.
The tires fit very well. Just enough meat. Size that should have come from the factory I'd say.

And yes. Summer wheels are in the works.

So forgive the Noob question as I am learning a lot from the RS6 ordering thread but the AE colors are avalible if you place an order with the dealer? I really love that color as it reminds me of the Lightning Blue on my Viggen.

Yes Audi Exclusive is available through the dealer. They can provide you details if you ask them.

As for ordered this color, it’s really not that nice. I’d say don’t get it. There are other blues available.

Short video of the start up and some revs of the Sport Exhaust. Figured it will be a good baseline for future videos.

Tone is great and volume is fine, but the cabin is so well insulated that you miss out on so much. That will change.

Thanks. Yah I think its great for majority of people. Many will want more sound with only a few going full out with decats and the like. With it being a daily, as mean as decats are, not something in the cards for me any time soon.

Picked her up from getting full XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 and XPEL Prime XR 20% last night. Really happy with everything. Not happy with my Track Armour installation, but I'll leave that for another day.

At the shop.

On the way home but weather sucked.

A couple from today though the inevitability of a dirty car in Canadian winter.

Also used my Vag Com to disable the ambers in the headlights as well as the rear wiper.
