    Muffler Delete (video)

Just sharing for anyone interested. I know when I was exploring this, there were only a few decent videos out there. This is my 2014 SQ5 3.0. My setup was simple - delete the final rear mufflers and valves, replace with pipe and new quad tips. Total was under $500 (Bay Area premium unfortunately).

I went 034 Stage I ECU and TCU, added their intake tube, modded airbox, and added aFe filter. Then deleted the mufflers, and this is the end result.

I'm really surprised I haven't seen you around, granted I hardly venture into San Mateo.
$500 for a muffler delete is still quite a bit. Where did you end up going to?

I think Golden Auto Mufflers in Daly City may have been cheaper?

Haven't been driving much for to Covid, booo! But yeah, I was actually shocked at cost too. I shopped around a bit and all shops were about same price so I went with a small business in Redwood City. Tips were $150. Still much cheaper than AWE and I love the sound, bonus is that it's still relatively stock (can go back easily any time).

Oh, and I did my old Infinity G37 and it was only $50 cheaper about 2 years ago. Seems like costs are just high, but Daly City should definitely be lower

    Not bad!
I am thinking of making the stock exhaust a bit louder.
Hoping to get bigger 4" tips too.
