    Audi TTRS Body Kit options?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
so I love the 40 year TTRS body kit look... but looking at "Audi Aero Body kit, part #ZAW071620DDSP” it is costing $10k-12k... oooouuucccch.

anyone find body kits options that have the same look?

Google automotive passion. They’ve cloned the Audi Sport body kit, but everything is carbon fiber. I think most of the Audi pieces were just gloss black. I’m currently getting the side skirts and front splitter installed. Hopefully picking the car up tomorrow. Will post pictures.

Thomas has been great to work with.

They look fantastic. I would have gotten the rear diffuser as well but they are currently out of stock.

There are ebay/aliexpress parts (chinese) that are largely ABT clones. I have the front splitter and inlet surrounds. The finished quality is meh, but I will be re-finishing them when I install my Automotive Passion skirts and rear.

I would really like an exact copy of the Audi Performance wing. I know AP has a similar one but I'm picky.

Dark matter makes a “forged carbon” version of the Audi sport kit, the wing design is faithful to the oem version from what it looks like as well

I have the DM carbon wing in a normal carbon as opposed to the forged. Looks oem except for the metal mounts have a subtle DM inlaid

Here are some pics of the automotive passion carbon fiber pieces I just had installed. I think they look fantastic. Getting the rear diffuser and L Shaped front blades as soon as they are back in stock.

Quick question I've ordered the kit as well. Do you have any pictures from the install? I've already installed the the wing as it was a direct plug and play, but wasn't sure if kit install was doable at home or if I needed to bring to a shop. Thoughts?

DM me your email address. I’ve got no pictures of the install but I was able to get my hands on the official Audi Sport Aerokit install directions that were very helpful to the gentleman who did the install. No instructions come with the parts. Tried to upload the PDF via the paper clip icon in the app but just got a failed notice. Probably too big.

I’m sure there are people who could do the install. I would definitely not count myself as one of them and would recommend seeking out a pro

That 40th anniversary Quattro TTRS sure is nice, just another thing we won’t get on this side of the big drink. I think this will be my next wrap/livery, Going to send out the OEM 20’s to be powder coated white or as close as they can get them to “Glacier” and the livery once the spring shows up. I have most of the pieces from Automotive Passion, great guys to work with, the quality is top drawer and the prices more reasonable than Audi’s. I was a little worried about the rear spoiler looking too “boi racer” but the swan style is just right for the car IMHO. They are a small two man operation so the parts trickle out and they are working flat out. Plan for this but the parts... can you even call them “parts”, “auto art” is more like it and they are worth the wait. AP also has some other trick carbon parts in the works for our cars

Photo’s added for those that haven’t seen the Quattro 40th anni car.

The DM Carbon rear wing looks very effective, I wonder if it is designed to handle 160 plus without self destructing or the attachment points letting go.

For those with the AP front, do you foresee it being able to take a little abuse? I just don’t want to order a super thin front lip that crumbles if you barely touch it. I’m hoping it’s as sturdy as it looks.

Ok, since my 2018 TTRS is a pre-fl car, I ordered the full kit from Dark Matter. It finally arrived today. After production (Chinese holidays), shipping issues (FEDEX--two tries since they lost one of the other ones in transit and crushed part of another), and 4 months to the day of ordering it, I have all the parts.

I went with the dry carbon vs. the forged since I liked the look better. The pieces are all high quality and finished very well. They included all the screws and stickers along with a fairly comprehensive installation manual. I can't wait to see them on my car.

I'm going to get 034 to install it since I've been thrilled with all the work they have done for me in the past, and I don't really have an area to do all the installation myself.

I'll post some pictures back to the thread when the install is done. :)

I just recently installed the Osir carbon front spoiler (upper) and their rear diffuser. I like that the kit looks oem and is very subtle. Here is a teaser.
