Finally found a good cell phone mount for the C8

For those that don’t want to use a double-sided adhesive tape to mount the phone mount, this is for you. It’s vent mounted with an extra leg for stability. I have tried many many vent mounts and this is the best.

I already have this from a previous vehicle, but with a different vehicle-specific base:

I'm going to use this as a base since this is where I'm currently sticking my phone anyway. Flops around quite a bit in the cupholder though. At least now it will be held in place and I can actually see the phone if I need to. Just need to decide between the regular or the taller one. The regular one will probably be fine I'm guessing.

I considered a cup holder mount too but sometimes both of my cup holders need to be occupied with coffee and such. Plus I wanted the phone to be mounted in the direct line of vision so I believe a vent mount was probably the best for me.

Makes sense. I typically don't have beverages in the car. But when I do, there's only one. I don't trust passengers with food and drink :)

That dash mount looks awesome, I just wonder how it would hold up with aggressive driving and those magnets. Any issues so far?

Absolutely no issues thus far. The magnets are quite strong.
