Lightbulb 7 Speed DSG Mechatronics Repair Kits Available

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
All kits are OEM ordered from Europe. These are NEW and not remanufactured.
The kit for the 7 speed DSG / DL501 transmissions includes:
    -2 mechatronic boards
    -4 Solenoids
    -2 Oil Pipes
    -2 Solenoid Filters
    -Rubber spacers
    -Screws
Considering ECS/FCP charges around $500-$600 for just the boards alone, I could offer this complete kit (2 boards, 4 solenoid filters, 2 oil pipes, rub spacers & hardware for $725 shipped to the 48 states.
Keep in mind when doing this repair you will be dropping the transmission pan and it's recommended to do the DSG service since you're already in there.
How does one know if they need this kit, well these are the indicators for the use of this kit:
    - jerking when starting in dial position D or R.
    - jerking when stopping when switching from 2nd to 1st gear.
    - switching on or off when changing the selector lever position (D and R).
    - at low speed in selector lever position R, delay the start of movement (especially with a slight incline).
    - the engine speed drops too high when switching from 2nd to 1st gear.
    - the engine speed drops too much when the selector switch is set to D or R.
    - the message "Transmission error!" appears in the display of the driver information system.
Option B - you can buy a whole new OEM Mech Unit for around $2500-2700
Please PM me with any questions that you may have.
    Thank you!

What about these codes P173E00 (valve 1 in partial transmission 1) and P174000 ( clutch temperature monitoring) and P17D800 ( Torque limitation due to clutch temperature) is a repair kit a good choice to go with ? ( A7 2013 3.0T 7 speeds)

Interested, my issue right now is coasting up to a slow stop I get the shift from 2nd to 1st gear RPM surge. What sucks is I did a full DSG service to try and fix the problem (DSG adaptation still in progress) and the problem remains. I fear I may have to go down the mechatronic rebuild route in the future.

well how much is Option "A", assuming you have an A?

Bump. This is worth every penny. Turned my sluggish, clunky dl501 and turned it back into its factory form.

Any confirmed installations? Do you have a guide for the rebuild?
