    (2004) S4 Buyer's Guide?

    Hi Folks,

This is my first post outside of the intro forum. I've found some excellent information on this site for B6/B7 S4's - which I've been looking into buying. I just found a 2004 S4 though and I'm trying to find a good buyer's guide for those cars. Does anyone have any leads. The one thread I found (from 2014) had a link to a site that appears to no longer exist (DNS doesn't resolve).

    Any and all advice appreciated.
    Thanks!

    2004 is B6. You are in B5.

Make sure those chain guides are done.

Ok that's what I thought. But this S4 is in the older body style. I thought all B6's had the B7 body style no? Here's a pic:

Thanks. I'm aware. The picture I posted above is a B5 body style though, right?

Timing chain adjusters are garbage. Common failure point.
