    IMALE engine parts from China

Has anyone had experience using parts from this brand? I was looking to replace my timing chain kit and was originally quoted all original parts by an indy shop but when the parts arrived this brand IMALE came instead. At first I thought it was MAHLE the german brand. Even the font and color of the logo of the company is similar. Looking at their website and parts that they offer they specialise in VAG engine internals. Linked below is their website and alibaba site

    https://imale.en.alibaba.com/

Should I go ahead with the kit or demand a different brand? Anyone have experience using this brand?

need a different brand, this is some noname brand, insist on getting your own kit if they can only get this crap. I think OE is about 1k at FCP or ECS.

I wouldn’t let a shop use cheap Chinese parts. Insist on OEM or something FCP sells.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts guys! The shop kept insisting that the parts will be okay. I will just get my own parts instead.

I am now looking at purchasing timing chain kits from ECS or FCP Euro. However, looking at the two websites kits. They list down different bolts, seals and gaskets that are required. Can someone guide me to which ones are needed.

I can spot the obvious items from FCP Euro that i will not require such as whatever is required for oil change.

Apart from the chains, guides and tensioners ECS also includes:
    8 x Hex Bolts N10124304
    4 x Torx Bolts N91129001
    3 x Pan-Head Screw N10451409
    1 x Upper Tensioner Gasket 079109139L
    1 x Lower Tensioner Gasket N90362001

    FCP Euro includes:
    2 x Bolt N10660901
    4 x Bolt N91050201
    1 x Bolt N10660902
    3 x Screw N10285501
    3 x Bolt N10468703
    1 x Hex Bolt N91073701
    12 x Self Locking Nut N91130801
1 x Audi Chain Tensioner Gasket - Victor Reinz 703906600 (equivalent to upper tensioner gasket Upper Tensioner Gasket 079109139L)

So which bolts and gaskets are actually needed
