B9.5 S5 Sportback Turbo Blue Build Thread

On December 11, 2020 I finally was able to take delivery of my S5 I ordered back in May. It was awesome to finally drive it. Short lived, as I was only able to drive it 2 miles to the local shop 503 Motoring for lots of upgrades.

OE Spec.
2021 S5 Sportback Turbo Blue
- Prestige
- Black Optics Package
- S Sport Package
- CF interior inlays
- Nappa Leather

Big plans for this car as I’m inspired to make her very OEM+.

So starting off with this list of mods.

- Full body Xpel Stealth PPF wrap
- Ceramic coating inside and outside
- Lowering on H&R Adjustable Springs
-Factory RS5 CF mirror caps
- Factory RS5 Spoiler
- Factory Black badges retrofit
- Custom “RS5 Look” S5 fender badges
- CF flat bottom steering wheel with Urus Paddles
- Vossen HF2 20”x10.5” Gloss Black
- Factory S5 All-Weather-Mats
- Full CF O34 Motorsports Intake
- ECS CF ECU cover

Love that color! We must be neighbors. I’m picking up a 2018 S5 Sportback on Friday. Planing on taking it to 503Motoring for a tint. Have never used them before but they are super close to my house and seem to have good reviews. Maybe I’ll see your car there.

I got them from Europrice.us.
If you look them up on Instagram and DM them they will set you up.
They do require some minor modifications to fit.

I know the modification is very minor but not exactly sure what. If you research it, I’m sure you will find lot more helpful info since it’s becoming a common upgrade for Audi’s

What are "RS 5 Look" fender badges?

Kind of hard to explain, but really trying to match the aesthetic of the RS5 fender badges but say S5 instead. I think with the new facelift design I really don’t think the stock fender badges match the car. Where the RS badges really match that factory mesh grill look.

Don't the S5 fender badges already say S5? I never looked too closely but I had a S5 and now a RS5 and the fender badges look the same except for the RS vs S.

No the design is completely different. The RS ones are way more mesh that match the RS Grill style. The S4 ones have some mesh but have a different design and in my opinion doesn’t flow with the facelift of the car. I’ll post pictures later when I’m done with them.

Here is some pictures for reference of the S5 vs RS5. I’m a pretty detailed person and really like the full mesh look of the RS but want the S5 badging still.

Hmm you’re right. I just went out the garage to look at my RS5 and yeah, the chrome “swoosh” is much smaller on the RS5 vs the S5.
