Recently got a 3inch Vibrant resonator done but want it to be louder. Any suggestions to make it louder?

Leave the resonator in and instead delete the rear muffler unless you wanna have drone and ricer-like buzzing like a mofo!

I have a mk 7.5 GTI that’s stage 2, very similar motor, and I run a catted high flow Downpipe (CTS) and a 3 inch exhaust with only a resonator (Borla type s). Honestly for the noise output it creates the drone is not bad at all, it is noticeable but not bad. The car is very loud, ecspecially on cold starts. However, these motors are known for having that deep buzzing sound around 2k-3k rpm and it is really hard to not drone during that range. Anyways that’s my setup.

    have you tried that?

    That's interesting though.

I've deleted both resonators previously and loved the sound. But there was an obnoxious tin can Honda drone that appeared 1/3 of the RPM and disappears.
(best bang for buck exhaust mod IMO)

Ive now gone quad AWE and its too quiet and unhappy with it.

I'm not sure why you added a resonator if you wanted it louder. Remove the resonator and just add straight pipe. Or buy this: https://www.ctsturbo.com/product/cts...4-a5-downpipe/

Instead of spending all the money to delete use a exhaust cutout. You can open and close the valve from the cabin and it works great!
