    Question B8 Pre-facelift/Post-facelift??

    Ok, I'm new to Audi so please don't butcher me...what does this mean?? Pre/post facelift? I've been looking at vendor sites for Audi parts and trying to learn the lingo.

    I have a 2016 A5 s-line, so is that a B8.5 post-facelift?? Someone please educate me...TIA

    2013-2015 or something for b8.5

    '13 A5, '24 Tiguan SEL R-Line

    Western Maryland

    B8 is the Audi "family". For example there is also an A4 B8. In 2013 there were minor body changes made and consequently it was called the B8.5 (facelift) model. Then in 2017 there were major body style changes and thus the B9 designation.

    B9's are ugly. In both a4 and A5

    B9 production actually started in late 2016. Available in 2017. Clicky clickŪ

    Not in NA. '18 was the new model year for the B9 A/S5. The B9 A/S4 was available in the '17 model year in NA.
