    2021 SQ5 Deals

With the 2021 SQ5 just being received, there is a lot of unknown out there. What are people getting for deals? Markdown, % rate, etc...we had a similar thread for the B9 RS5s and I think it was a great help when came to negotiating and being informed. Through that thread we discovered that a few of us were being charged .99% markup on the financing by various dealers. This was over and above the AFS “A” tier rate at the time.

I just bought a 2021 Premium Plus loaded original sticker almost $69,000. I got the Season of Audi $1,500 discount, 6% off MSRP for Audi Club of North America, and a very favorable trade on my 2019 SQ5, $5,000 more than KBB said it was worth. Overall, I thought it as a no brainer for the low out of pocket difference, the styling changes, the NAV and TECH improvements, and loosing the trackpad and controller that were so dated. Also, the changes in the transmission software and gear ratios have improved the 0-60 by 1/2 second and my highway fuel economy by 2 MPG at 80 MPH.

Deal on the car itself was good, but not necessarily noteworthy. $66,500 sticker, paid $61,500. But like @mtbmaniac, I got a REALLY nice deal on my trade-in. A tier credit, and financing is 1.9%. I didn't give the rate a ton of thought as I put a lot down, and will pay the rest off after COVID and business stuff stabilizes. Keeping cash on hand in the short term seemed like the right move, though Mops is probably going to end up with most of it.

Sup fam! We just picked up a 21 sq5 teknik pack in canada for 73k (~57k usd). Well equipped but not fully loaded - missing the sport diff/air susp. Were ok on the price but the rate kind of sucks, the original was 3.48 but we got a 2.73 with some promos. We got a decent trade in value for my 12 s5. im gonna miss that na v8 but my back just can't handle coupes anymore. Hope this will be a fun transition. Here are some pics - with real exhaust!! Call me mental but on a S model, there is 0 excuse for fake exhaust. This trend is a disgrace.

We're picking our 2021 SQ5 up this afternoon. Got a great deal from Audi of Queens in NY. I'll post a full write-up in a new thread with pics once I take delivery but they smoked everyone else's deals locally. By like $50 per month! I dealt with J.T. there. Great guy. PM me if you would like any specifics of the deal.

Hey SQ fam, when I posted this thread I had not yet finalized the deal. It has been a couple weeks. The MSRP of my prestige SQ5 was $71,440 it has everything on it except cooling seats. With the Season of Audi event, the final price ended up being $65273. I got A tier financing but it ended up being 3.49%@72 months. I wish I could have got 1.9% stated above. I wonder if that is a regional thing or a dealer markup on the financing.

Second this! Picked up a 2021 SQ5 from them today as well and they were extremely competitive in pricing. It actually ended up being slightly cheaper than my 2018 lease with all the added tech. Just was a win/win!

My wife and I have a really good relationship with our dealer. We have been with them for over a decade and have bought an obscene amount of cars from them in the last 10 years.

A dealer in the springs I take it? Where do you go for maintenance on your fleet?

We haven't had to do maintenance. For the past years, we have been lucky to make it past 5k miles before trading in but under normal circumstances either the dealer for Audi Care stuff or I throw the car on the lift in the garage and the maintenance my self.

I wonder if % is also a function of term. I did 60 months.

Anyone in the San Diego area get a good deal on an SQ5? We are looking to trade our ‘13 allroad for something new and have narrowed things down to either a ‘21 SQ5 or ‘21 A6 allroad. I hadn’t really considered the SQ5 until this morning. The more I look and read, the more I like it...

I’m not a fan of the all touch screen interface the allroad has. IMO those touch screens are every bit as distracting as cell phone. I’ve watched a friend with a Tesla Model X happily cruise down the road staring at the tablet sized interface trying find seat heaters. Made me very nervous and I think about it every time I see a Tesla now. He wasn’t in autopilot either. Scary. OK, rant over.

The 2021 SQ5 comes with a touch screen now, not sure if all 2021 models do but I did test drive a 2021 A6 and it was also touch screen.

Interesting. It does look like the climate controls are still knobs/dials. Didn’t realize the MMI is touch screen.

One thing I really like and use in our RS5 are the 8 physical memory buttons to quick tune different satellite stations. I frequently switch back and forth between streaming via Apple CarPlay and Sirius stations. I can do this completely by touch without taking my eyes off the road. I loath commercials and frequently changes stations to avoid them. This will become much more difficult, if not impossible to do without looking away from the road with the touch screens. Using the steering wheel controls and DIS does “solve” the problem to a degree, but not completely.

go to Audi Manhattan, you should be able to get well north of 6% without any fancy club deal

I received the AoA 6% discount on a recent A6 Allroad order (still waiting for it to arrive) through Audi Carlsbad. It was zero hassle. I mentioned it to the sales rep, he checked with the manager. She came over and said, yep, no problem. Just bring the signed certificate in ahead of the purchase/delivery date. Easiest "negotiation" I've ever had for a discount. Maybe reach out to Audi USA to see if they can help? Or find a new dealership? I know that could be a hassle but would be worth the thousands in savings...

You are correct. That is why I traveled outside of tristate to buy mine. I was told there is no discount on SQ5, not a penny off the sticker price.

I bought from Audi Nyack. The salesman name Stephen. He deals all S cars. I got 6+% off stick which I was unable to get in tristate area. I did search online deals and confirm the discount with them over the phone before I drive there. I did make sure they have what I want and available for pick up before I drive there.

I could get similar deal fro Audi Queens. But they tried to low ball me on my trade in and they don’t have the right car for me.

not exactly, but since the affinity is not reimbursed back to the dealers anyway (more like incentive to get customers in store) sale written up as dealership discount. then costco rebate is reimbursed to them and the cash rebate is reimbursed back through audi. loyalty also this month for $500 but only on A3/S3. still guy was straight up and easy to deal with. could have tried to play games with the rebates but didnt. five other sales people in other audi places were playing coy with the rebates or didnt care to deal at all. mrs was feeling anxious about driving it the two hours back to NY, so he was the one who offered to truck it up to us. great service

(mrs didnt want to drive it back alone). great no drama no pressure experience. shoutout: [email protected] costco $1250 rebate good through 4/30/21
just texted the guy and definitely able to reproduce this deal. nefkntym is right about not stackable per se, but 'simon says' will make the numbers work. could even do it all over the phone and have delivered to you (i am 2 hours away) he says mention me or this post. good luck. Harris

i would assume discount and rebates would apply to vehicle cost before $$ down and residual

Yeah probably. I know the 18s were leasing around 600s. Was curious to see if the new 21s were roughly about the same or if they drastically climbed up in price.
