    Audi A4 facelift Headlight upgrade

I have a 2013 Audi A4 b8.5 with Xenon bulbs. One of the bulbs went out. I want to upgrade to LEDs but I’m only seeing H7 bulb sockets instead of the D3, which is what the Xenon bulb socket is. Is there any possibility of upgrading to LEDs?

You mean you want to retrofit LED bulbs in place of your original D3S HID bulbs. D3S is common, no doubt there are LED retrofit solutions marketed out there. Are any of them any good, will the light distribution pattern be any good, would I risk them in my car, probably not unless a tier 1 came out with it as a direct purpose retrofit for OE HID headlamps. Such as Philips, Osram, etc. Obviously, an LED with an H7 base is not going to do you any good.

Everyplace you see with some LED retrofit, they are marketing against halogen. Because if you're going to replace your poor halogen junk with something, might as well be LED in 2020. But for replacing HID, lot less interesting.

True enough 100% For replacing old halogens sure. But coming out from replacing your xenon HIDs might sound a little interesting. Unless the top tier brands would come up with an OE solution for it
