    265/40/20, Will it fit?

Currently running 275/35/20 with no issues, however I moved to somewhere with a much heavier winter so I need to pick up some tires that will handle year round a bit better. Trying to go with Pilot sport all season 4s, but they only come in 265/40 or 275/40, tire place is adamant these won’t fit for an A7 - any input from 7 owners on whether this will work?

According to an online tire calculator, a 265/40/20 is approximately 3/4" taller than a 275/35/20.

I say run 255/35/20 since it's a6/s6 size and also what I ran on my S7 being cheap since 265 35 20 was 100 more per tire for conti dws06

Why not go with the A/S 3+ if winter is a concern? I had 275/35/20 on my A7 and they were fantastic. Though I felt better running 245/45/18 in the winter.

On some roads my car tends too follow the slight curves on te road which then needs some small corrections. Would it help if I go for 255 35 20? I'm also currently on 265 35 20
