    Do I need endlinks?

034 has a sway bar sale.

Endlinks are a big portion of sway bar cost.

Do they really add that much difference? I just want it a little tighter during turns. Car is already lowered on KW HAS kit -- will sway make ride worse?

Sways won't make the ride quality worse. They will improve cornering and depending on how they are setup, they can improve turn-in and reduce understeer. Solid/adjustable end links transmit more noise and vibration into the car so you might categorize that as a worse ride.

Adjustable end links aren't really necessary for street use. I run solid, non-adjustable end links on my RS5.

I heard that 034 end links will creak so if you don’t like random noises you might want to go with a different brand

Since the 034 end links have spherical bearings instead of rubber, they will improve the performance of the suspension (reduced deflection, etc) and give the suspension a more precise feel. The casual driver might not notice much of a difference between stock and spherical end links though.

Cool thanks for the info. I think I will just go sway bar then.

The 034 endlinks are all metal vs the rubber body of the OEM b8's. Seems like its more then just the bearings. Having held the two side by side there is a major difference in feel and rigidity. Not a suspension expert so just an observation. Mine make no noise, and I don't have the rubber outer boots.

The only reason to run end links is if your lowered. The 034's and others from Eurocode and ECS are all "adjustable". They're adjustable so you're not adding any pre-load to your sway bars. If you lower your car, the OEM links will pre-load the sway bar and it'll diminish the car's handling potential.

Sways can make the ride quality worse as what you're doing is effectively increasing the spring rate. You're tying up an independent suspension if that makes sense.

On the creaking, I have 034 rears and the initial set I had were horrible and made nails on chalkboard horrible noises. 034 determined there was a machining error and replaced mine. Going on two years with no abnormal noises. With that said, they are sealed spherical bearings and they will eventually wear causing "clacking" noises as you go over bumps. The bearings are end user replaceable however. Just don't expect them to stay silent forever like the OEM end links.

I just ordered a set of the fronts through JHM but I suspect they'll perform just like the rears. If you do purchase a set, make sure to install them correctly and have a way to put the car up on a lift via the wheels so you can adjust them to a neutral position. One can, theoretically, adjust them to favor a car turning left or right.
