    2015 A3 1.8T exhaust upgrades

Hi.. I'm thinking of getting a muffler delete on my A3. Just wondering if I should get only muffler delete or go with resonator delete as well. Also should i get the secondary CAT removed too???

I wanna get a good sound and not have much drone on the highway..

Is it better to get a custom muffler shop to do it or to buy a exhaust setup and then get it installed.

Also I only a dual tips on one side as it's a FWD but I'm thinking of getting dual exhaust with quad tips. Any suggestions???

Also....Will this affect my car with passing emissions next year🤔🤔

Emissions only become a problem when you are messing around with the catalytic converters.

I would stay away from a resonator delate because many people on the forums complain of a loud droning noise and many say its not worth it.

Can you put the AWD exhaust on the FWD if swap the valence and get on exhaust hanger?

I'm going to install a vicrez custom carbon fiber rear diffuser. So I was thinking of getting a milltek catback system.
What would be better a custom 2.5" straight piped from the resonator or the whole setup swapped for milltek system???

I dont think you can because the drivetrain is different for AWD.

That really depends on how much you want to spend and the price of local shops.

Money is not really an issue. Thoigh I'm thinking of spending under $1500(CAD) including labour, I only want my car to sound good and maybe get some extra hp. I'm gonna tune the ecu to stage 1 later on also.
The custom one is costing me 1000 everything included.
The milltek one is around the same price but I'll have to get it installed.

You can because there’s a YouTube video of a guy with a 1.8T FWD who bought a Borla 2.0T AWD exhaust with dual outlet . He cut another opening on his diffuser to fit the other outlet . The exhaust fits without any issues . So yes, AWD exhaust will fit on a FWD A3.

Here’s the link to the YouTube video:
