Hey everyone! I'm having a little bit of an issue and getting this error code P0441. Car runs fine with no issues. I recently had an IE catch can installed so im thinking this might have to do with it. I replaced the EVAP purge valve thinking it was that and it was to no avail. Anyone have an idea of what else it could be? Car has 45k miles. Never heard of anyone else getting a CEL from this catch can. Also thinking it could be this hose and fitting being loose. You can't tighten it all the way with how short the hose is. Its turned to the right because I was testing how tight it is20201002_165727.jpg20201108_120734.jpg

I had the same issue with a CTS Turbo Oil Catch Can. Seems some S3 are very picky with vacuum. My car was misfiring ruff idle till it when into limp mode. I thought it was sparkplugs and coils even do they were new when over tighten the same fitting you are mentioning. In the end, I ended up removing getting full refund and problem solve. I ended up getting ECS Tunning Oil Catch Can system version that keeps the OEM pcv valve.

As much as I would like to remove the plastic OEM pcv valve. I haven't dare to.

It's a shame cause I was looking into getting IE one.

Only reason I haven't removed it is because the stuff that's come out of it so far is absolutely gross. Don't want that in my engine

Did you try bypassing it (basically go back to your stock set up)? I mean someone above said that was their issue...so did you try that?

I have not yet unfortunately. My stock parts are about an hour and a half away and I need a day to get them out back on haha. I emailed IE and they said I shouldn’t get a CEL so there may be a vacuum leak somewhere, I just don’t know where

This was my setup first picture CTS. And as I stated before rough idle, misfiring cylinder 1 and 2. Despite having brand new Ignition coils and sparkplugs. I try everything make sure it was properly torque, new gasket, triple check the vacuum fitting line. Nothing work it was doing a great job catching all the vapors and the Oil mixed with it. Till it when to into limp mode and have the epc light on. I'm now running ECS Tunning Oil Catch Can version. It keeps the factory PVC valve in place. Funny thing is that while it cure the problem and the car runs great. I actually don't think is doing anything. As I have been running it for most part of this year and the catch can is empty bone dry. Even do I have gone through a oil change. I'm actually contacting ECS for more info.

One thing I'm curious is that IE does not advertised they're system for S3 in fact they just list VW and Audi A3 not the S3.1395580239.jpgIMG_20200521_094851.jpg
