Live in Milton MA, looking for a trust worthy mechanic for my 2014 S6 and somewhere to get a stage 1 APR tune.

Looking at European motorsports in Dorchester currently, anyone have any experience there or any other local shops.

    Thanks,
    Alex

I take my 2014 S4 to European Motorsport in Dorchester for basic work like oil changes and alignments. They’re good people.

A fourth endorsement for Auto Engineering. I’ve never let anyone else but them touch my RS5.

Only thing I have about European in Dorchester is having someone pick up and calling back. Called numerous time but never anyone pick up or call back after leaving messages. They're convenient to me but can't do business if I don't know if they're open. Just wanted to get APR tune on my wife's Q3. End up going to Eastside Motoring for APR.

Experiencing the same issue with European. Otherwise, they do good work.

I'll add to the endorsements for AutoEngineering in Lexington; I have heard a bunch about them over the years and just recently had my first experience with them when I brought my car in for an APR tune. Had a great experience! Also while changing my SC pulley they noticed the water pump was leaking at the seal and did that for me at what I thought was a reasonable price.

Glad to see this post. I am picking up my S5 tomorrow and was wondering who to go to as well. Only thing I need to research now is if APR is the tune to go with or one of the others.

    What year/engine is your S5?

2010 Cab. 3.0T. Sprint Blue Pearl Effect.

I'm a noob to the Audi scene so I'm trying to learn as much as possible and as quick as possible so to be able to carry a conversation here. I also don't want to buy one brand only to find out that another brand would have been a wiser decision. I'm looking for pullies, tune, exhaust, and CIA. Very simple. Not trying to make this the fastest car out there, I have another car I use for that stuff. :)

Just be careful once going past single pulley. Do some research on cat conv failures. We have seen it many times. Some other local APR tuners I guess arent aware of this common issue, and we have seem anything from flanges blown off cat, cat blowing out the exhaust (best case), and spun bearings in engine (customer drop with completely melted/blocked cat)

This is the only thing keeping me at single pulley. Do you guys have recommendations for replacement high flow and/or relocated cats that actually hold up? Or does it become an inevitability that they'll keep burning up and need replacement?

2nd Axion Motorsports, 30min south of Boston. Guy is a perfectionist and has done some crazy clean builds. Always takes care of his customers. Reasonably priced too from what I've seen around here. I've tried Auto Engineering twice too and had an decent experience but they're one of the nearest APR dealers so I didn't have much choice for going APR Stage 2 ECU. Bit more expensive but work gets done quick.
