Anyone buy this from the Dealership ...? I had an after market one in my S4 ... but, have not taken the time to remount in the S6 ...

This kit includes a front and rear camera. I don't see any specs on the camera resolution ... Maybe the Dealership can get those specs ...??

    Thoughts ...??

Watch some YouTube reviews. You'll really love the black sticker for the windshield

That's a good point to replace the double sided tape with black one before installation. Sounds like it's full HD at least up front which is only 1080. Modern dashcams are at least 2k or 4k. Otherwise, a slick Audi unit and nice integration

i think the blackvue dash cam is the go-to camera these days.

I have the UTR in my RS7, the YouTube review posted above is pretty much spot on, except the US version does have black adhesive pads not light grey ones with that weird external black sticker. Overall it’s an adequate dash cam with a nicely OEM integrated look and feel. The radar trigger when parked is probably the ‘best’ feature. The mobile apps suck, I just use my laptop to get videos off it, not a huge deal for me. I’m happy with it, the BlackVue products are likely better dash cams but I like the way the UTR looks factory fit which is why I went with it over a 3rd party camera and it’s still good enough to fulfill it’s intended purpose.

Dealer did it, if you have the rear camera you gotta drop the headliner. I don’t think it’s hard but it’s quite a bit of work that i didn’t feel taking on. It was a while ago now but I wanna say they charged me 2.5hrs labor. They have it in their system now you can call them and ask, in Europe dealer install is included in the purchase price not sure why it isn’t in the US.

Thanks. I wouldn't want to do the headliner myself either.

Thats what I use, with a blend mount. Looks far better than that UTR IMO and better features, etc.
