I did 19 on my S5 Sportback and I'm running 19's on my RS5 Sportback as well.

Ordered 18” wheels with 245/40/18 Pirelli Sottozero 3s mounted by Tire Rack. Will have them installed when the weather gets colder. I like the narrower width and higher sidewalk for winter.

I have 19x8.5 wheels with 245/40/19 tires on RS5 (since roughly the same diameter as the stock 275/30/20 tires)

On a S5, wheels that are 18" or 19" diameter should both work fine, but if I had an S5, I might have chosen 18" wheels.

There may be more choices and lower cost for 18" tires.
