    Hey guys,

Question, I see on posts most engine parts are interchangeable on s6, s7, rs7 these included down pipes, does s6/s7 aftermarket exhaust fit rs7? I have found few after market exhausts for s6 and s7 for fair price, but I cant find anything for rs7. If the s6/s7 exhausts fit to rs7 with out any modifications I might have to go that route... TIA

I can tell you that RS7 exhaust mounts up to S6 with APR downpipes with no modifications. All hanging points match up perfect.

the piping fits but you may run into a issue with the outlets of the S6/S7 mufflers.

the outlets on the S6//S7 mufflers are slightly more spread apart, to allow for tips to be attached and not hit each other.
whereas on the RS7 the outlets are close together in order to slip inside the exhaust finisher in the bumper.

look at the photos here for reference

This is the RS7 sport exhaust on my S6 with the APR down pipes.
Do you have down pipes on the RS7 now? What are you trying to achieve? Louder exhaust? If your just looking for sound a set of down pipes does wonders with out any drone at all. I love the way it sounds. Quiet when cruising but gets very loud when you get on it.

I have an OEM RS7 sports exhaust that just came off of the car for a Milltek. Located in Northwest Indiana if anyone is interested in it.

It should be. The APR downpipes are catted as well. Everything bolted right up. Pipe sizes were the same to mate up.

All C7’s exhaust is interchangeable. From A-S-RS. I have an exhaust made for an RS6 in my S6. Bulged up properly.

You would have to take off the actual tips. So if you have the sports exhaust it has a silver or black tip over the tailpipe. An exhaust shop can remove them. On second thought you will need to cut your tailpipes shorter as well to fit in the diffuser so no need to take it off. Just cut it. I made that mistake with my setup at first by taking off the tips only to realize they had to be cut past the welded on tips to be the right length for the diffuser.
