    Just Picked Up: 18 S5 Sportback Prestige

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    After searching for a long time for the right car with options I finally picked up my 18 S5 a week ago. Finding a prestige turned out to be harder than I imagined. Feels good to be back in an Audi.

    New black RS style grill is on order. Tint scheduled for next week!

    I wanted a black optic (19) but couldn't justify another $7000 or so for a premium for a 19. There is too much chrome to get rid of so I think I'm going to stick with the silver rings.

    are you okay with voiding the warranty? or are you hoping the JB4 goes undetected. I would like to tune my S5 as well but I do not want to void the warranty

    JB4 is pretty safe but I have a good relationship with my service advisor/dealer.

    Not sure if I'm going to install it, I believe it adds 50hp or so but honestly the car is pretty quick in stock form.

    JB4 is safer, but not undetectable. I assume you got the car CPO - whats the thought behind negating the unlimited mile warranty on a tune? I'm genuinely curious because I'm thinking about it myself but just can foresee one of the many issues coming up and Audi wiping their hands of any warranty services.

    My service guy said I'm safe, but I know him pretty well. Car isn't CPO'd. One year of warranty left.

    I'd rather have an APR tune honestly and may go that route when warranty expires. Never been a huge piggy back fan.
