    IE pulley alternatives?

I am getting really tired of waiting for IE to restock the supercharger pulley. Is there any alternative pulley that'll work with my IE tune? It's been 2 months now.

Most aftermarket upper pulleys are around 57.5mm diameter. I’ve run EPL and IE tunes on non-IE pulleys.

^This, pretty much any aftermarket SC pulley is fine, they may very by a couple 10s of a mm, but there is nothing special about IEs particular pulley.

Truth. There is no meaningful difference in supercharger pulley diameters. They are pretty much generic items now. Any Stage 2 single pulley tune should work well with any of them.

Jokerz Performance just came out with one called a griptec pulley. It's supposed to be pretty great from what I have seen. It is not cheap, nor is it crazy expensive, but Jokerz has a pretty good reputation. They will also port your SC if you like haha.

Only downside is they want you to use their install tool at 135 (can usually find one to rent for cheap for a normal pulley) and then you need the hub for another 60, so all in you are at 364. You can easily find one for 100 bucks and rent a tool for maybe 50?

Not knocking the product as I'm sure it works great, but it is definitely a fair amount more expensive in the end.

Looks like Brett clarified the tool is a 135.00 add on and you get 120 back once you return it. Still a little higher then a Standard pulley but I will say one thing it looks very cool

Why even bother with the SC pulley - just get the correct diameter crank pulley for the final ratio / tune you desire and eliminate the potential for the OE damper failure...

That's not bad then, I saw the discussion on the FB group about the install kit, sounds like you just pay the shipping then so not too bad.

yes - what He said - best advice is to determine what final engine RPM to supercharger ratio your tune will support and then just replace the CRANK pulley do not bother with the SC pulley - reputable vendors such as JHM or 034M offer crank pulleys in various diameters

    Good Luck melting your cats!
