    Wanted to kick off a new thread for the B9 platform now that tunes and bolt-on parts are finally in market for our vehicles.

    This is not a "Mod List". I want to keep a conversation on peoples personal "performance achievements" but the discussion of different products is almost required when talking performance specs. That said.

    Brag but dont be a Dick to others.

    Everybody has their own personal style and choice of tunes and products. Rather than talk about it, be about it! What do you guys have going on. Weather is getting cooler out. Its Turbo Time!



    I have 2018 sq5. Full bolt-on. Before i installed a hybrid turbo my best 1/4 was 12.34 @ 108.4 and 0-60 @ 4.20. Had one dyno run and was 373HP and 418TQ to the wheels (dynojet) with JB4 map4.

    Strong! It takes a lot to click off a 12.5! You are probably getting wheel spin like me! My best 60ft at drag strip was 1.71 street seems consistent 1.8's.

    Tons of wheel spin, haven’t tried different launch techniques yet if any apply. I know it’s capable of better 60ft

    Drag strip event in Nov, I usually go every year so might need to sign up and see what she can do. Street to Track I’ve usually seen a .1 - .2 difference at best with other cars.

    If i could get my best 60" @ 1.64 and this run, that would put me there already. This was drag strip. My street draggy pulls are slightly better due to warmer tires. Either way, next epl map update will get me there in both circumstances!

    Awesome work! Any dyno ideas with the new turbo? And did you run e85 with the stock turbo?

    Dyno session is planned. My guess is +520HP currently. I did run e20-e30 blends with 93 on jb4 map 5&6 on stock turbo but best 1/4 mile times were consistent 12.5's. You definitely need intercooler to fully take advantage of eblends on this platform! I believe EPL has or is almost ready to release e40 tune out of beta for stock turbo cars.

    So you actually went a little slower on eblends, interesting. I was hoping for quicker on E. My car feels so much better on E with the JB4.

    I'm hoping for a bigger turbo altogether in the future. Would love to see some monster gains. For now we will enjoy watching your developments.

    Eblend amd 1/4 mile times were with jb4. I am not running jb4 currently. I am beta testing the EPL stage3 hybrid 93 file. 12.05 is Pure 93 no ethanol blend. Once file is tweaked by EPL , i can then splash 2-3 gallons e85 and get nice boost. Easily into 11's then!

    So who makes parts for our cars? I am still not seeing a lot of good options, but maybe I'm not looking on the right websites. My wife dailies our 18 SQ5, and it's stock right now. Would be fun to add a couple mods that didnt hurt drivability or longevity. Suggestions??

    JB4 for a daily driver. It will wake up about 30 more HP on average!

    Well, we have 33k on the car now...what is the stock warranty, 36k? I've had the Unitronic tune on my rs3 since like 800 miles (20k now) with ZERO issues. Hope it's as reliable on the sq5!

    How did you made the launch? 3000 RPM with full brake push and ESP off and then launch? Im testing my SQ5 with a turbo hybrid tte5xx, custom remap, IC forged, intake awe and DP custom. Its difficult for me the launching. My best time 0 to 100km/h was 4.15s and 100-200 10.5s. Im not trying yet the 1/4 mile time

    traction control off, dynamic drive select mode, and "S". full brake, let it hit your desired rev limit and release full throttle. if you are tuned they would have set a rev limit that you simply allow the digital tac to bounce off of and then release brake pedal. if you hit 3000rpm you need little more than that to build proper boost for launch with a hybrid. i am launching close to 3800rpm! 1.61 60ft and 3.70 (3.54 w/1ft) 0-60!

    Maybe i have less boost presure in my turbo tune that you? How many max PSI are you running in your turbo?

    Hit the track today, weather was amazing and Izzy brought the fight today

    Going in, I wanted to run 11.9 but knew 12.1 as a goal was more realistic.

    The car spins like crazy off the line, I was able to find a sweet spot on the launch. Traction control off, Release at 3k rpm on the upswing provided the best 60ft and 0-60 times.

    I ran consistent 12.2-3 all day, as it got cooler we decided to lower tire pressure until I hit the sweet spot of 27psi on all four corners. Car was also in Dynamic mode.

    Redstar Catless Downpipe
    Euro Rock intake
    AWE intercooler

    Nice runs! With the right launch you can hook a better 60ft and you will be in the 11's! I am still working on the best method. Seems like letting car do shifting on its own i lose power band. I am gonna do auto 1st>2nd and then manual shift 2nd>4th and im sure i can knock off another 2/10's on the 1/4!
    In about to move from hybrid beta 93 to the hybrid beta e40 map! Thats guaranteed 11'5 for me!

    The shifting on this car is sluggish, but I’m also comparing it to my previous car. It still needs a good TCU tune. Do you get any benefit from manual mode? Doesn’t it still shift for you at 6400rpm?

    With my hybrid turbo my power drops after 5500rpm so if i shift a 6000 rather than let auto shift at 6500 i can gain little extra HP available in the power band.

    My dragy vs track slips have always been +/- .06 difference pretty consistently compared side-by-side
