hhhmmmm that is confusing to me as it contradicts the window sticker and audi's website.\
"The leather used for Audi seats comes mainly from the skins of male cattle from southern Europe. To maintain the genuineness of the leather, it is gently refined using substances including vegetable dyes. This creates a material that is durable, long lasting and highly emotive in equal measure.
We conduct over 30 different tests before selecting the right leather. These are designed to check such parameters as abrasion resistance, light fastness, shrinkage behaviour, bending strength, resistance to tensile forces, emissions and flammability. Only once it has passed all tests is the leather cleared for use in seats and interior equipment.
In keeping with the seats, you can add Audi exclusive leather upholstery and trim to the rest of the interior. Here, too, there are virtually no limits to your imagination. You might add leather to the steering wheel, or the door trim, or just individual parts of the seats. Rounding off the range is a wide selection of colours for contrasting stitching, floor mat edging, carpet and seat belts."
