Exhaust tip options for B9 S5 SB Stock exhaust

I'm not looking to install CBE because my car is already pretty loud with APR FMIC, 034 CF Intake, ECS HFC, EPL tune.
So I'm just looking to enhance the look of the stock exhaust.
I did it on my b8.5 S4 which was stock exhaust + AWE chrome tips(90mm).
And it came out fantastic but got dirty so fast and I got tired of cleaning it. haha
I've seen some ppl already have done it.
Should I go Black chrome 100mm this time? or just do another 90mm chrome?
Is there any downside about the black chrome tips?
And does 100mm fit with stock exhaust?

Maybe start looking into Powder Coating your chrome tips...there is a lot of finishes to choose from. There are several guys that do this in their garage at home as a side business in my area, plus all the gunsmiths and gun-shops do it. You just need to learn how to prepare the chrome to be coated. Never had black chrome, but I cannot imagine it would be easier to keep clean than chrome!

Just ordered magnaflow 35121 tips and a pipe cutter and some clamps.
We'll see how it turns out.

Should I clear coat it with matte finish before install?
What do you guys think?

Sorry to necro -- Looking to replace the tips myself and I'd love to know if this worked out.

High temp clear coat for sure

Look into getting them cerakoted!

I have cerakoted a couple of things and the finish is awesome and indestructible!
