    Would 18" rims fit on a 2020 A6?

I'm looking at a winter tire package off an S4 that was 245/40/R18. Would there be any clearance issues?

Pretty sure there will be. The standard wheel size is now 21" for the 2021 and I think it was 20" for the 2020. The front discs are listed at 15.8" in diameter plus the calipers.

I had 19" RAYS TE37s on my C8 A7 (same brakes) last winter, the caliper was very close the barrel, half an inch, probably a little less, so 18" is definitely a no go.

In some countries, the A6 C8 is offered with 18 inch rims. I think the important thing is to choose the right offset (ET). And a link from Poland. Just scroll down there is part of the configurator. It is in Polish, but the size of the wheels will be understandable.

Yeah, in some countries the A6 is powered by a gerbil and the brakes are smaller... irrelevant info for North American cars.

I would not be so sure if the brakes are smaller but I am almost sure that 18 "will fit. I think that soon I will just try it because I own wheels from the previous A5 and I intend to put these wheels on as winter ones. I will try to inform about the result.

Hello. As I promised, if I check if the 18 rims on the Audi A5 fit the 2019+ A6 (US version), I will inform you. So, I confirm they fit without any problem (they don't rub anywhere and nothing) The only thing is to choose the right size because 245/40/18 are a bit too low in my opinion, but this is an individual matter for each car owner. The important thing is the offset (ET) of the rim, which in this case is safe and amounts to ET 29 or ET 32 or ET 33 depending on the A5 model. However, be careful with the wheels from A4 / S4 because the ET is already there, if I remember correctly 47. This means that they are hidden inside the car about 15 mm, which may result in rubbing against the brake caliper. Still, it's worth checking out.
