2021 RS7 Curb Weight

The website for Audi Germany says
Empty weight* 2140kg
* Vehicle empty weight with driver (75 kg) and fuel tank 90% full

So without driver we get 2065kg = 4553lbs.

Audiusa.com says Curb Weight is 4938 lbs.

Does anyone know how to reconcile the difference in these two numbers (different by 385 lbs)?

I can see USA cars being almost 400 lbs heavier. The German site says weight can differ by options. Many of the additional safety features required by US law, and options packages can add weight. Sunroofs are not a hot option in Europe yet I would guess most if not all RS6s being sold have a sunroof. Also cars in North America generally get the hot weather and additional cooling packages.

Wow, I would never had guessed there would be this much of a difference. I’m holding out hope it’s closer to 4,500 lbs. 5,000 seems crazy heavy to me.
