Will OEM 19" wheels fit on 2018 s6 and clear the caliper?

Hello. I recently purchased a 2018 s6 prestige. I think the brake calipers are the same between all of the different s6 models and the sport package I have just paints them red (please let me know if I'm mistaken!). I'm looking for a winter setup to replace the 20" in wheels. Looks like I could get some refurb Audi 19x8.5 ET45 wheels (part 4G0601025BS for $300-400 each). These wheels are listed as a part for the 2018 s6. See below for pic of the 19" wheel.

Does anyone have these wheels and can verify that they clear the front calipers? I may also consider some Hartmann's, but didn't know if the slight offset difference affects anything. Thanks in advance.

All the brakes are the same. AFAIK those are the standard stock 19" S6 wheels. They will fit.
Opinion: I don't know that I'd pay $300-$400 for them refurbished even though they are $800 new.
You can go on Tirerack and make a winter package with either brand new BBS SR or OZ Ultraleggera HLT and some Wintrac Pro tires mounted & balanced for ~$2500 total.
The Hartmann options would be another good alternative.

I ordered a 19" winter pkg from Discount Tire. I tried them on and it cleared the caliper, but the tape-on wheel weight touched the caliper. I slowly rotated the wheel while on the jack when this happened. So I brought the set back to have them move the weight to the inside of the wheel. Now the wheel will spin without touching the caliper. So check out the clearance when the wheel weight is over the caliper.

Thanks, bpd. Do you know what offset your wheels are? Our stock wheels are +45. I'm not sure what the generally acceptable deviation is assumed to be for the offset number.

The offset just moves the mounting pad and therefore face of the wheel in (toward the suspension) or out toward the fender. As long as spoke clearance/design is ok with the brakes you can go with other offsets.
Example: If stock is +45 on an 8.5" wide wheel, you can probably safely move up to +25 and not have any issues. Many 9" wide wheels will be +35 giving a pretty good "flush to the fender" look.
The two wheels I mentioned earlier are 19x8.5 ET32 so pushed out 13mm more than stock and the other is 19x8 ET35 which is only 10mm more pushed out. I've seen some 20x9 ET25 on S6's but they poke out just a bit too much for my taste. If you search around there should be plenty of pictures with various offsets.

I got a 19x8 with 32 offset. I would just go to one of the online tire place and enter your car. It will give you the choices. But when you do get the wheels, try them on before driving them.

I have the OZ’s in black.. they’re nice, and seem to have held up against a couple winters’ abuse pretty. No caliper clearance issues. I think TireRack generally tests and considers feedback pretty well when determining which wheels fit on any given car.

Exactly. TireRack has a fitment guarantee as long as you shop using their tools. I only heard of one incident of someone having an issue with fitment and that was on the brand new D5 A8L V8. TireRack was unaware that it had larger brakes than the regular V6 version, but obviously they took care of the customer and updated their website.

I just got a set of these wheels from my Audi dealer sales manager. He had it on his S6.

That's his setup in the picture. The rims appear darker because he had them powder coated.
