    Right Side Turn Signal

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Sooo, I thought i would have escaped the electrical ghosts when i switched from driving VW's to driving an Audi...

I have a "Right side Turn Signal" fault displayed on my dash, but the signal works fine.

Has anyone had this issue, have checked connections, not sure what's up.

Dumb question, but you did check front and back just in case?

What? there is a front AND back signal...WTF

Kidding, not a dumb question, have checked both repeatedly, compared to left signal to see if there was some "other" light that i was unaware of?

Even left the hood open in the sun for a day in case of moisture in some connection or light housing.

Did you check side view mirror indicator? Do you have after market bulbs?

    Side indicator working, OEM bulbs

I mean it is the "least bad" electrical issues I have had with a vehicle, but having the car scream at me in the morning is no fun. And no one likes to stare at any warning lights on their dash.

Ok, I think I have tracked down the electrical gremlin.

Sooo....the side mirror indicator is lighting up on the part you can see from the drivers seat, but upon closer (and repeated) inspection the whole LED strip was not lighting up...and moisture inside the light housing.

I guess this weekend I am opening it up and trying to dry/ check/fix seals and hope that it is salvageable...if not i guess this is a sign from the Audi gods to get some sexy aftermarket dynamic signal lights.

I know this thread is not as sexy as anything that makes our cars go faster, so thanks to everyone for the suggestions, this forum and community are a great resource.
