2016-2018 Audi A6 3.0 Prestige

Hello there,

I am looking to purchase the following:

2016-2018 Audi A6 3.0TFSI (Supercharged) with under 50k miles.

Wants:

-well maintained with records
-Prestige
-Black Optics
-B&O (as I believe this is the only audio system that allows for subwoofer control via the MMI settings)
- s line sport package
- black or nougat brown interior
- black headliner

Pluses:

- <35k miles
- 5k oil change intervals
- can prove that it’s never been tuned, bone stock
- one owner
- pristine maintenance records/etc
- 2017/2018 model because Apple CarPlay is standard

The exterior color and rims don’t matter a ton as I will probably wrap Nardo Gray and accent with bronze wheels.

If you know of something that fits the bill or are interested in selling your A6, hit me up!

I do have my eye on one that fits a lot of the above, but the miles aren’t ideal and neither is the price. I’m hoping to find something better without having to hire a concierge car buyer to take the hassle out of finding the perfect “one”.

B&O isn’t a must..

My previous C7.5 2.0T had the option to control the subwoofer, but didn’t have B&O on the window sticker..

Idk what’s going on there. I thought the subwoofer control in the MMI settings only came with B&O

Wait, I might be completely wrong here.. does the sub control only come with the Audi base sound system on these cars?

The base sound system sounded good.. are we sure Bose is an upgrade? Lol..

Didn’t think it sounded as good on the test drive, which is why I thought I must have had the B&O on my c7.5 2.0 but I might be crazy

I believe there is base, bose then B&O. Most have Bose. B&O is a super rare option as is night vision.

Hi Dmauldin, Between the 2.0T and 3.0T, are the differences day and night? There is a Prestige 2.oT that i am very interested in, but feel like I might regret it, given the power to weight ratios. I have also read that the 3.0Ts are more reliable. Any insight would be really helpful in my decision making. Thank you,

I had the 2.0T premium plus before I got this 3.0T (SC).

I regretted getting the 2.0T due to the newer platform basically only having the ability, at this time, to go stage 1.

But, I am an adrenaline junkie. And I pay extra to drive an Audi because I want luxuriousness and sportiness without the “look at me” factor of Mercedes Benz.

If you want to hit like 5.5-6.0 second 0-60 and hit the pedal every now and then the 2.0T with stage 1 is fine.

If you might want to mod in the future and be sure you’ll have options to do so and you like POWWAAARR then go 3.0.

Either way, the prestige is awesome. The heads up display has turn by turn navigation and even if you get the 2016 and not the 2017- you can get with CarPlay on telegram and he’ll remotely assist in getting Apple CarPlay on the 2016. Don’t know if you mentioned year.

Go with your gut. If possible, test drive a 2.0T and a 3.0 and whichever one speaks to you - pull the trigger.
