    Thule AeroBlade Edge removal

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have Thule AeroBlade on my allroad but will never use it. Attempting to remove it and looked at the instructions. I see on step 7 there is a rubber strap you pull around. Currently, I've unlocked the plastic cover and pulled it off. What is the best way to remove the rubber strap on step 7?

    Thanks

Can't see what instructions you're referring to. Anyways it looks like there are two allen head bolts in the middle of the foot. Also appears to be a bolt in that round cavity. Just loosen everything until it comes off. You may need to pull up that rubber strip covering the T Track for better access.

Apologies, here is the manual https://images.carid.com/thule/base-...structions.pdf. there is also no bolt in the big hole.

Ok doesn't look that strap requires any tools to install. Push on it then pull up. A flat head screwdriver (or similar) may be needed to help pry it up. Then for removing the actual feet, hopefully you have the Thule wrench, because a lot (if not all) of these racks require special 'security' bits.

Yup thats right hkdolphins. Can't believe some people are asking > $40 for this screw driver. Guess I'll have to buy it. Found one on for $17CAD, hopefully they ship to the U.S.
