Check the pyrofuse at the battery. If it was in an accident it may have popped, this kills all power to the car. I was rear ended and went thru this scenario, I made a temp jumper wire so I could move the car but later replaced the fuse.

it's easy enough to diagnose if you have a test light or voltmeter. A quick Google or forum search may show you the location and a pic of it but it's right at the battery. There is a bus bar on the + side battery cable and this fuse is at the end of it. A small piece of plastic with 2 legs on it for the cable.

Before ordering I'd make sure that it is the issue. They aren't expensive, around $30? so don't think it's going to be $100.

Here is a video that talks about this fuse and shows it's location

Ok cool we need to figure out how to move the car right now now, how did you bypass the pyrofuse temporarily?

If that's the issue what I did was use a piece of 8ga wire, I had extra wire from amp installs, and put an eyelet on each end so I could bolt it down like oem. This fuse carries a bit of a load so I wouldn't use a small gauge wire.

The video actually shows how to bypass it, can't remember if there is enough slack in the cable to bolt it to one of the other posts.

Maybe it’s just dead battery but I’m just lying to myself at this point

Well it's wishful thinking lol, it could be that easy but if it was in an accident that fuse is also a possibility. Both are easy to work around so hopefully 1 of those 2 things is your issue.

Yep, also wanted to ask is all the power supposed to be out? Like completely dead?

If it's the pyro fuse, you would have some power. The ignition would come on and you would have radio/hvac etc but you won't be able to start the car.

Interesting because we apparently have no power, lol I think it’s just battery definitely pyrofuse too since it’s been in a accident, we’ll see almost there

If it's completely powerless, I'd start with jumper cables. Being that dead it may take a few minutes of sitting with cables on to get some life in the battery. I can't think of anything else that would shut off all power unless a really silly situation happened.....a wrong key was put with the car at the auction so you can't turn on the ignition? Lol that would be a lottery ticket winner if that's the case.

Just had to check my car lol,the dash still has power and turns on with door opening so if that is blank forget about the key.

Nice :) in about 10-15 minutes I’ll see we’ll try jumping it, key could be dead which shouldn’t be a problem lol
