Brake Upgrade Options For The Q3?

    Hey Guys,
I was curious after doing the S4 brake upgrade on my B7 A4 and sport brake conversion on my ML350 if there was a option for the 2015 Q3? Like can we fit the S3 brakes or Q5 brakes on the Q3? With my A4 the difference with the S4 was the larger rotor and the caliper bracket to accommodate the larger rotor and the same for my ML350. Here are some pics of the upgrade i did on those.

I did see some one said that the MK6 Golf R brakes would fit so that might be an option and they look just like my B7 S4 calipers.

I do see that ECS sell an adapter bracket to run the Porsche 986/987 calipers on the A3/MK6 models and it looks like the stock Q3 size rotors would work with them but cant get a confirmation from ECS. I might just buy them and test fit it and see if it would work. You can find use 986 calipers pretty cheap so it might be worth the risk.

i had a set of rs3/ttrs brakes front and rear that I was going to slap onto the q3. they are the same as rsq3 brakes. i would go that route.

oh wow that's kool do you have any pics of the install if you did it? I would think that would be really expensive, If my idea works the whole setup would be around 700-800 dollars maybe less.

I think I have decided to go with the Porsche Macan base calipers which are 4 piston. I ordered one of the calipers from Porsche to test fit.

Did you end up doing this? If so how did it turn out?
