    I want to take the d3 s8 chassis put the 5.0 tt v10 on it, find some manual trans to bolt on it, have the body coachbuilt with specs to fit the engine and trans, and made completely out of carbon fibre, have the d3 s8 seats custom upholstered to say rs8, and have wiring combed through.

    Im guessing no ones replying because it sounds insane, which it definitely is, because first off rs8 doesnt exist nor does an avant a8/s8. So this would be from absolute scratch but i want the body of an s8 but avant style, i want the s8 interior upholstered to say rs8, and the 5.0tt from the rs6. All done in the us of a.

    It does sound insane, and very very expensive and has a chance of looking like a barn build if not executed correctly.
    Why such a combination d3 + avant? Why just not take a A6/S6/RS6 C7 and put an engine of Your choice in it? And then upholster interrior.
    Are You afraid that C7 avant would be smaller than D3 avant?

    I have a c6 s6 already, but i am just in love with the d3 s8, but i want the rs6 engine. And it could turn out bad but at the same time it could be beautiful. The d3 platform wasnt offered with the tt v10, but it fits in place of the 5.2, so in theory it could be done

    It could definitely be exciting for sure, but there will be hoops to jump through and limitations. I spoke to 1/3 RS6 owners in Mexico to gather an idea of how many are actually in North America. I too see potential in the 5.0tt, however it was limited by the ZF6’s inability to have launch control. I’d be more interested in how to mate the 5.0tt to a ZF8 and take the 5.0tt to new heights.
    Current: 2014 Audi RS5 Ibis White Carbon Ceramic Brakes, JHM Stage 2, JHM 2.75” catback exhaust, K&N filters, 034 inserts (all of them), Alu Kreuz, carbon fiber splitter/side mirrors/ECS spoiler/rings

    Previous: 2010 Audi S6 V10 Phantom Black Pearl JHM'd (JHM ECU tune, exhaust, LW crank pulley, intake spacers, SAI delete), R8 19s, RS6 interior
