Angry Code help... "02 sensor response too slow"?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
so, installed DP with the J o2 spacers, middle size restrictor.
Now i expected an efficiency code... never got it. I did however get two codes that I cant find much info about:

P013B oxygen sensor B1 S2: Response too slow Lean to Rich
P013D oxygen sensor B2 S2: Response too slow Lean to Rich
    -

now, with little info ive found, its conflicting and uncertain. Some say its o2 sensor issue, some say its due to the o2 sensor spacers. The spacer issue would make sense, as its a "response" code, but i dont know if that actually makes sense.
Cleared codes multiple times, always come back. I have a larger and smaller diameter restrictor to try, but not sure which to try, given the code. If it was purely an efficiency code, id go to the smaller one. But the way this code reads, a quicker response time is needed, so maybe the bigger diameter is better?
    Any thoughts are appreciated.

id suggest a large diameter spacer.

those codes are due to the limited exhaust flow reaching the sensor.

you need to find the "sweet spot" of the proper restrictor.....allowing enough exhaust to reach the sensor, but not enough to trigger the CEL for lack of efficient cats.

Thanks. So this code means it needs more flow?

I had similar codes after I had downpipes with spacers installed and it turned out to be switched connectors on the rear O2 sensors. Since OEM downpipes cross and APR downpipes don't, the installer forgot to flip the connectors. There is a test in VCDS to check this. Here is a link to my older post for more detail.
