these are some pretty rare wheels. don't believe me? just call tire rack and ask them when they will get them in stock. they list special order for all of their warehouses.
i pulled these apart and had them sandblasted and powdercoated gloss black in march of 2005. at that point i cleaned up the barrels and hardware. the titanium screws were all cleaned, run through a die, and then the threads were sprayed with loctite 7649 primer (a titanium thing). then i applied removable loctite and sequentially torqued them to BBS's specs. at that point they were better than new.
they have seen one more summer and one track day since then. the centers are absolutely flawless. the lips are in great condition with only the minor knicks and scrapes that come from mounting and unmounting the tires. they have no curbage of any kind.
