    Houston Audi Dealers

    Hello All,

Recently moved to Houston from the Wash. DC/Maryland area. Am looking at the Audi dealers in the area. Closest to me is Audi North Houston. Was wondering if any members had experience with them in terms of quality of service and are they tuner friendly? If you have other local dealer feedback in comparison it is also appreciated.

Thanks and have a great and safe weekend.

Congrats on the move, you probably will fair better than the northern VA dealers. Bunch of con artists.

I've never heard of any "Tuner friendly" dealers. Period. Nor should you man. If you wanna play, you gotta play. Why do people always want the easy way out? If you mod your car and something goes wrong with it, then suck it up. Don't expect the manufacture/dealer to pay for it after it's modded. Sheesh.

^There is a difference between a dealer that says “he has a tune but we’ll still generally take care of things and not give any trouble or heckle but we might not cover an engine because of the tune.”
And a dealer that says “nope you have a tune we are going to try and deny everything... as an example we’ll blame your failing seat adjuster because you have a tune and the higher g-force on launch could have caused the seat mechanism to fail” This is the dealer that is frustrating to deal with.

I get what you are saying, I just wouldn't go to the dealer unless I absolutely have too. In my opinion your better off going to independent shop for repairs. I mean if something not related to the engine/transmission fails(if your tuned) like your radio, electronic steering system, sunroof, headlights/taillights, a/c condenser, a/c evaporator core and other items, then yes take it too them if you still have warranty. But if your trying to get anything on the engine or transmission repaired and you are tuned, don't waste your time man. Save yourself the trip and go to an nonindependent shop for repairs. Even if it's a known factory issue etc, once your tuned you throw out your power train warranty and shouldn't fuss about it.

Spot on AudiRS#. I’m looking for someone reasonable. Engine issues or drivetrain issues, got it, no warranty. It’s the other stuff I don’t want to get hassled over.

Still looking for some feedback on this or other Houston dealers. 😁
