According to Raxles, the factory torque spec for the front axle bolt is 140ft lbs + 90 degrees. Wasn't it supposed to be 180 degrees?

I went 90 and have had zero issues. It’s one hell of a torque spec. I used the handle off my floor jack on a breaker bar and was bending both.

I just torqued mine and may have gone over 90 degrees, is there going to be a problem? I may have done close to 180 degrees

I honestly can’t say as I’m no engineer or Audi, but I wouldn’t think so. If that’s what Bentley says, it was factual at one point. Auto manufacturers love to make changes on us and they usually don’t really impact the vehicles that much, in my opinion.
One thing I’d keep an eye on is the ABS function, as there is a sensor or something in the hub of the upright. If that’s performing well and you don’t have any noticeable grinding and noises, job well done!

Holy macro, looks like one of your inner joint bolts fell off, supposed to be 59 ft lbs
edit: looks like one of those metal balls that fit into the outer joint, yikes

Isn’t it such a nice change!? I replaced both of mine a few months back.

A question, what exactly is causing clunks from an axle?

Mine was the driver’s outer CV being so dry and worn out that the shaft was bouncing around inside the outer joint. I could listen to it as I swerved the wheel from side to side.

Lack of grease is likely to blame in my case (particularly passenger side outer joint). The inner joint on both passenger and driver side apparently had some play, only noticeable while driving; taking both axles joints out yielded more apparent results over the source of the noise.
