ABT Rear Muffler and Skirt

Has anyone installed the ABT Rear Muffler and Skirt? I recently purchased a 2020 SQ5 and looking to upgrade to this setup. I am looking for feedback on looks, fitment and exhaust sound/performance.

i have the full kit. absolutely love it. exhaust is still valved just like OEM system. and fit and finish is perfect.

Thanks for the your input. Did you install it yourself? I am curious how much adjustment and messing around with the exhaust to get it sitting nicely. Also, how does the exhaust sound compared to stock?

If you do this I'd be curious as to whether you have a shop install it and which one. I'm in CO too and have been contemplating this or the MTM rear bumper.

I am considering a few options. I would most likely take the car to my preferred body shop in Broomfield and have them knock out the rear bumper. I would do the exhaust installation myself. I have yet to meet an independent shop in the Denver area meet my expectations that would take this on for me.

I use SVE for body work. In terms of mechanical work, do quite a bit myself (at least on my older cars).

A video would be great. ABT sent over some of the documentation for the install, so helps with knowing what needs to be done. I am assuming that bumper is the whole rear bumper and not just the lower skirt. Do you have a factory tow hitch? If so, are you good with the hitment?

rear is just a rear skirt. attaches to the factory top half of the bumper. I had an oem tow hitch but i wanted to be able to close the "door" to get the cleaner look so i cut off the part of the tow hitch that sticks out. I only did so because i actually found another OEM hitch/bar at a nearby junk yard in the event i ever need my hitch again.

So install can be done with hand tools? Or more complex?

I've been thinking of doing this mod for a few months now and haven't been able to decide if I'll be able to live with the difference in the lower bumper lines and how they flow into the OEM lower door/side skirt lines. You should 100% buy this kit so I can then finally see an SQ with just the rear done and make a decision. LOL.
