    TS1 vs TS2 performance differences?

Does anyone have any performance metrics from these two setups on an RS7? I understand TS2 uses its own manifold and makes more power, but just curious what the 1/4 mile or 60-130 difference is.

Also, does anyone sell a kit yet that has these turbos with the proper supporting mods to run them correctly or is everything pieced together separately?

I'm affraid if you really want to see performance difference between the two, you first will need to find a car that is running air to air cooling in combination with E85 or water/meth setup. If not, both will run out of steam (heatsoaked) too soon to see top gains...
TS1's you might be able to push almost till the top with non air to air setup, but definatly will need supporting cooling mods and most likely E85 or mixed blend.
TS2's....don't even try them without air to air afaik.
Anyway, just what i heard but enough facts for me to wait it all out till affordable air to air setup is availible (hopefully the dutch/EU setup will be done testing soon and resonable priced).

Thanks for the info... back when I had a GT-R, there were kits that were sold as packages that could get you X.XX 1/4 mile times. I'm wondering if that will ever come along with this platform. Basically, something as simple as this:

    1) Stock car: 11.2 @ 122mph
    2) Stage 1: 10.9 @ 126mph
    3) Stage 2: 10.6 @ 129mph
    4) Stage 3 (TS1): 10.1 @ 135mph
    5) Stage 4 (TS2): 9.9 @ 140mph

Am I oversimplifying this too much? I understand there will always be differences in cooling, weather, fueling, atmosphere, grip, etc., but just wondering if the end goal will ever be like the example above.

Well basicly you could mix SRM cooling/fueling/wastegate/sensors kit to the TS turbos. In the end it is the tuning that gets the most out of it based on what hardware can handle.
Dmt-racing is bit the russian counterpart of SRM and offers simular kits afaik. They also provide air2air cooling. If not mistaken SRM are working on an air2air system aswell. The platform definatly is still evolving but the higher stage you go to more hardware upgrades it takes if you want to get the most out of it...so be prepared to bend over and reach deep if that is your plan :).

Im waiting till a affordable air to air ic comes to the market. Think there will be multiple options coming in the next few months. Atm the only solution is from turbo shop russia but im not going to spent $7000 on a ic. MRC is coming with one, SRM is apparently working on a setup and a guy in Holland is also working on one and already testing it own his personal car. If someones comes with a kit priced around 3k i will bite the bullet and also upgrade to TS2 (if they can provide enough data that it really works offcourse). Untill then i will just stay stage 2 with WMI...

Ts2 not worth it on any 4.0t other than rs7,rs6 or A8L unless clutch upgrade. Won't be able to run the turbo where it wants to be...
