Installed the center console trim and the coin tray delete Matt@carbon threw in the box as a gift.

Thinking about painting the chrome bezel around the shifter in gloss black.

Also used the occasion to install Philips Diamond Vision fog light bulbs, was annoyed by the yellow stock bulbs. They match my Xenons now.

What’s your input on the 6 pistons vs the 4 pistons? I had the 4 pistons on my a4 and I plan to put the 6 pistons on my s4.

Just remembered I have a pair of Macan Turbo (red calipers) at the shop if you’re interested.

I know this is an old post, but that’s the functionality of the 6MT and cruise control, you can depress the clutch and change gears without disabling the cruise. It shocked me the first time I figured that out, but is mentioned around AZ a few places and in the manual.

Haha ty, figured that out after test driving customers cars, so used to cancel cruise with clutch during downshift

Had an S5 steering wheel I had with a couple indentations re-upholstered in air leather with stitching to match the chestnut interior.

While at it, I had the shifter boot made to match and the shift knob re-done in air leather instead of regular Nappa.

I am seriously thinking about wrapping mine in alcantara to help on those cold winter mornings since B8 platform never got a heated steering wheel option. :(

Thought about doing the middle of the seats in Chestnut Alcantara, warmer in winter, seat heater warm way faster and you don’t burn yourself on hot summer days.

Had an Alcantara steering in the B7 in the past but working in a garage is not ideal for the steering so leather it is.

Yes, that would not be ideal with dirty hands, although Alcantara is actually very good when it comes to durability with good maintenance.
And yes, I had the two-tone Recaros in my B6 with the light grey Alcantara inserts and they were the best seats I've ever had in any car. No sliding in turns, warm in winter, cool in summer. Perfect!

Very silly of Audi to not offer a heated steering wheel for a B8 platform.
If I find a cheap spare flat-bottom wheel, I'll wrap it and try that.

I was too low with the H&R Sport and Bilstein B8 combo after the 3.0T swap so I just installed 034 S4 springs. Went up half an inch and I dont rub anymore. We'll see what the camber says after alignement. Shouldnt be at -2 anymore lol

Will post pictures shortly and I'll include height difference VS the H&R sport.

Unfortunatly no pictures on the Macan wheels and I took them off last week end. Boot and shifter was re-upholstered by Jordan Stratton @crafted. (You can find him on Facebook)
