Exhaust valve controller for C7 platform. Per EuroPrice, fits: '11+ A6, S6, RS6, A7, S7, RS7 (Exhaust Valved Models).

I had this installed on my 2014 S6 for two months before I traded it in. It was paired with an APR exhaust and did an excellent job controlling the exhaust valves via Drive Select -- loud in Dynamic, quiet in Comfort. This is the non-programmable version that responds to the ESP button -- double-tap the button to instantly close or open the valves. Gives you on-demand control of exhaust noise levels even without switching drive select modes. (The programmable version DOES NOT respond to the ESP button, which is why I chose this version).

Did you install and uninstall this yourself? Wondering where this plugs in to in the trunk and where the wire goes down from the trunk to the plug on the muffler.

Summary: Look on the right side of your trunk, there is a compartment with a mesh basket. Remove it and the compartment cover comes off (no tools required). All the wiring is just behind it. The CETE module connects to the CAN harness in that area -- pins slide right into the connector. There is a body grommet deep in that well -- you can see it with a flashlight. I had a bit of insulation in there that pulls right out. You remove the grommet and CETE module harness has inline grommet that replaces it. Connect to the right OE valve with inline connector. You then run the remaining harness wire across the trunk through the spare tire well, and out the grommet in a similar position on the left side. Connect to the OE valve on the left side and you are done.

Love this module, use it all the time to quiet down in the neighborhood or early morning start up (I'm usually always driving in Dynamic). Put car to on without starting it, double tap the ESP button and it will close the valves if you want a quieter start up.
