Question Audi family "VR" engines - is there a VR8 version - & general Audi engine questions

IDK where I've been but I didn't realize that the 3.6L was a VR engine, basically a larger version of the 2.8 and 3.2L VR6. I figured that if they used the same displacement as the 3.6L then a 8 cylinder would be a 4.8L and a 10 cylinder would be a 6L. I was wondering if Audi has made any V8 or V10 engines using the "VR" arrangement. I was amazed to see some of the numbers on forced induction models of the 3.6 and even their earlier versions of the 3.2 and 2.8.

I know Audi made the 2.8, then 3.0 then 3.2 and now the 3.6L 6 cylinders but I was always under the impression that they used the standard 90 degree V6 arraingement and I always assumed that all the Porsche V6 & V8's are all standard 90 degree but just saw that the Cayanne has the VR6 listed in the 3.2 & 3.6L from 2003-2018.

I'm now looking at the Audi 3.0T V6 and was wondering if that engine is used in any other cars (NA or forced induction) or if that engine was designed or based off of any other engines in the VW/Audi/Porsche stable (and if it shares any parts with any other engines).

Finally looking at the 3.0T and 4.0T engines, are they basically the same engines cylinder wise (V6 & V8) but the V8 using turbo(s)?

If anyone knows of any lists of the shared engine parts between different engines I'd really be interested in seeing that but I haven't found any lists yet.

VW designed the VR6 to fit transverse cars. They made a VR5 for the B5 Passat (based on the B5 A4 platform), but it was not available in the US. The W8 was only used in the B5.5 Passat for the 03-04 models (not certain). The VR6 was later fitted to the Touareg and Porsche. There is a W12 (2 VR6 mated to one crank) made for the Touareg and later appeared in the Bentley. The W16 in the Bugatti is based off of the W8.

The 3.0T and 4.0T are both standard 90 degree engines.
