    A3 Suspension Upgrade Recommendations

    Hey Gang,

I have a 2016 A3 premium plus without the Audi sport suspension. I recently drove one with the Audi sport suspension and realized I’m missing out.

I was wondering what aftermarket suspension provides a similar ride/drop? I’m thinking about going with coilovers.

    Thanks for the info.

    This!

I installed S3 struts/shocks/springs on my Non-S Line 2016 A3 a few weeks back and have been very happy with both the ride and the drop. I know a lot of guys want to go lower but I was looking for just an inch drop and that is exactly what I got. It's also a very economical route!

If you like the ride of the A3 Sport, I agree with above. You can get low/zero mileage S3 parts for cheap. I have an S3 RSB and springs with 8k miles on it (look new, but they are used), but shipping would probably cost more than the parts are worth.

If you go with coilovers or aftermarket springs/shocks you will almost surely end up with a stiffer setup than the OEM S3 setup.
