Does a change in intake make a difference in throttle response, HP or TQ, or is this any upgrade that’s about sounds and appearance?

Seems without intake or exhaust these 3.0s are very quiet on the street.

You get a low rise in HP and TQ with a good intake but nothing crazy. Don't believe the videos and results that get put out by the company *cough* *cough* USPMOTORSPORTS. Its really about sound in all honesty, supercharger whine is a very satisfying sound.

I did a injen intake tube with a upgraded afe power filter

    Mated with a rs7 intake

I noticed a improved throttle response but to say I gained horsepower would be a lie. Intakes just make your car sound cool 😂

Intakes are basically only for sound. FWIW Roc Euro does offer some sort of "exchange" program if you have one of their intakes and ever decide to upgrade to the APR Ultracharger. I don't know about the others. I only have a Roc Euro so I don't concern myself with the others. I only went with Roc Euro because of the price and how many people had good things to say about how well you could hear that sweet sweet supercharger whine.

PS I recommend waiting till around Black Friday to buy an intake, if you are interested.
