    Wiper blade replacement

Ok, I am getting conflicting information from different websites. What length wipers should I replace mine on the S7, I have seen 24" and 26" for the drivers side and 21" for the passenger. Which is it, 24 or 26?

And I live in Michigan and in the winter it seems like my wipers freeze up very quickly when driving. Winter climate family, which wipers do you recommend?

I bought blades for my A7 off of rockauto.com last set I bought.

I think I paid about $5 or 6 per blade then about $10 in shipping. I first called the dealer who said $50 for a set. I think it was the Bosch blades and I have never had problems in NW Indiana with freezing up blades.

Buy from Amazon, be done with it. Also, you can set wiper service mode by pushing down on the wiper stalk immediately after you turn the ignition off.

My recommendation is to check project farm on YouTube.

His findings showed the Michelin endurance silicone beams to be the best wipers you can buy.

I now have those and I find them amazing.

I just watched that video recently! That man is doing God's work! Here's the link for anyone interested.

The Michelins ($39) are priced similarly to what Audi charges for wipers. A good cheap option from his list are the Bosch Clear Advantage ($11). ElusionPDX, do those Michelins fit Audi without modification?

I have the Bosch Aerotwin (26"/21") on my A6. I have a had the current set on for almost two years and they are still going strong. Very pleased with their performance!

Since no one has plugged FCP Euro and their lifetime replacement policy, guess I'll do the honors. Plus they're somehow cheaper than Amazon by a few bucks right now.

Any idea what shipping back to them is going to cost for this? Curious if its even worth it once you factor in time spent in messing around with shipping when I can get a set from Rock Auto for $20ish.

Assuming you make or find a box that's reasonable size for this, UPS estimates a $11 cost for a 28X6X6 box for me (From NY to CT). after the first replacement, they would pay for themselves, and then some.

Like daytona rs7 was kind enough to look up, shipping back is pretty reasonable, and the whole deal gets better if you get annual maintenance stuff (like cabin and engine air filters) from them which should qualify for free shipping on the new stuff, and reduce the per-part cost of shipping the old stuff back. FWIW, while Rock Auto is like a dollar cheaper for the same wiper blades, out the door shipped to WA they are $34.78 vs $32.19 from FCP...which is absolutely nothing to write home about either way if you aren't going to take FCP up on replacements haha.

LOL. Amazon has good prices. but BEWARE their auto parts fitment to vehicles is HORRID. Dont trust the sizes they tell you on Amazon.
