There were some very positive EweTube reviews for Turtle Wax's "Hybrid Solutions" ceramic coating, and I applied a coat to my '18 last fall. Incredibly easy to apply, the gloss was incredible, as was the hydrophobia (hope that's the right word, water beaded up nicely).
A few days ago a "4 month" comparison between it, and Griot's Garage's "3-in-1 Ceramic Coating" popped up on my EweTube feed. Guy had sprayed one product and one door of his car, the other on the back door. I couldn't see a difference in gloss, but the water beading wasn't even close; the Griot's won, after four months. A frugal guy would use up his Turtle Wax then purchase the Griot's; a lazy guy would purchase the Griot's and use it.
I applied the Griot's this afternoon.

Gotta admit, it was a bit more work to apply. The Turtle Wax "flashes off" after application, and you just buff with a microfiber after that. The Griot's stays as a film, and needs to be buffed off fairly quicky (not unlike the old "Simonize", for those of you old farts who were waxing in the '70's, like me). If it lasts well and I only have to use it twice a year, rather than every couple months, it'll be worth it to me.
I'll report back next Fall!
