    Silver on Bumpers (black optic)

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF AUDI!

Bought my new to me B9 S5 Coupe 2 weeks ago. Im getting around to figuring out what i want to change on my car. I would really like to change out the trim on the front and back bumper for the black optic one!

I contacted the dealer where i purchased my car, and i almost fell off my chair when i saw the quote come back in!

I know TAG Motorsports sells them, but i was thinking buying locally and not having to deal with USD to CDN exchange and shipping, etc.

For those who don't know what im talking about... its these parts i want to change (red arrows)

Here is the quote i got back (please keep in mind that this is in Canadian Dollars)
OMG! I thought to myself... welcome to the world of AUDI! And I thought MINI`s were expensive to modify!

Ill look into either having it painted or wrapped.

I got mine wrapped, all chrome apart from mirrors for £330, and that's in London so as expensive as it gets. Alternatively get a new diffuser and don't bother with the back, it was almost the same price from Maxton Designs.

    Kind regards in SC.

I want to be surprised by that dealer quote, but let's be honest... that's sadly what we can expect for parts directly from a dealer.

It's as if dealers don't want to actually sell parts with those insane mark-ups. They force Customers to go aftermarket or find ways to hunt around with OEM part numbers to get the parts elsewhere.

Im not sold on the Maxton Design rear deffuser. Its really nice, but not the look im going for.

Just to keep everyone updated. Ive visited a wrap shop where i was quoted $550 CDN to wrap the front, back and even around the window trims.

Ive ordered some wrap on Amazon... will give it a go to see what I can get done myself.

If you are looking for something more aggressive: https://www.amazon.com/MCARCAR-KIT-D.../dp/B07WTWDYVB

I might go with something like that but I am just unsure of cheap-ish CF part fitment.

I got PPF installed on my car and at the same time i asked them to black out the bits I didnt like. Im quite pleased with the outcome.

Totally changes the look of the car!

Tomorrow I get my Carbnlabs Carbon Fiber mirror caps!

Still waiting on that grill I ordered from Carbnlabs as well the spacers from Nemisis!
