    Question Alcantara vs Full Leather

Which is the better pick for a daily driver? I've heard alcantara is more demanding to take care of than leather. I'm hoping to find a Sepang blue/Rotor grey TTS, so a lighter seat color like that will probably show more wear too.

I daily drove my RS5 with alcantara seats and did not think they were any more difficult to care for than all leather seats. Lighter colors, light white and tan, are more susceptible to dyes from jeans and pants rubbing off. Other than that, either will last depending on how you care for it.

Alcantara certainly holds you in place far better than leather, but I have found it more difficult to maintain given, as wild touch cites, particularly the more cheaply dyed jeans these days. Sonax for one now makes a dedicated Alcantara & interior cleaner where there was initially a void of products.

Leather is much easier to maintain and actually looks good with some age whereas Alcantara being a fabric not so much. But again if you're looking for hold-you-in-place you can't beat Alcantara.

I would have preferred saddle brown had it still been offered but the Rotor Grey was next best for me.
